We are Trina & Bill Sartaine and we own and operate SilverHawk in the foothills of northeastern Kentucky. We are a small kennel devoted to breeding top quality, healthy Aussies. We're glad you dropped by for a visit with us and we hope you enjoy meeting our Aussies while you're here!

We have had Aussies since 1976 but didn't get interested in showing them until 1997. That was the year we decided to start laying the foundation for what was to become "SilverHawk" Aussies. We have chosen our breeding stock carefully and are excited about continuing with the superior breeding that is our Aussies' heritage.

Our goal is to produce a beautiful Aussie that can win in the conformation ring, who possesses natural herding instinct and can compete in any venue of competition while at the same time being a perfect companion dog. Our Aussies are versatile, with brains, instinct, structure, and looks.

Our goal does not include breeding puppies just to sell, which is why we have one or two litters per year. We want to enrich the lives of people who desire the same type of Aussie that we do. Our Aussies love to work, play, and be with us at all times. They are a part of our family first and foremost.
