Mom (Ty), Dad (Decker) and the kids all thinking they've got it made in the shade!
Decker has passed onto his puppies his temperament, intelligence, herding instincts, and desire to please. While each one has their own unique personality, they all posess the true Aussie traits. We work with each puppy individually and in a group. We are there when they are born and continue working with each one until ready to go to their new home. We try to place each puppy with a home that matches their personality.
Our puppies are raised underfoot, in our house, and they even go to work with us. They are a major part of our lives and are considered a part of our family and treated as such. We feel an obligation to them to place them ONLY in qualified homes. This obligation extends for the life of the puppy. We want each one, once it leaves us, to be further developed to his/her fullest potential, to be loved as a family member, and to lead a happy and satisfied life. We want all new owners to keep in touch with us during our puppies lifetime. This is what BlackHawk is all about.
We do not sell our puppies to pet shops, puppy mills, any animal wholesaler, or testing facilities. We sell ONLY to people who will provide a quality home filled with love, attention, and top quality care. We interview all potential owners so please take the time to answer our questionnaire which will enable us to know you better and be able to match you with the right puppy.

Tay is Trina's favorite. As far as personality, she's by far the most outgoing, loving & mischievious of the bunch. Loves to herd cats, people, the deer, anything that will move, she's the runt & is very petite & ladylike till the boys get rough with her then she puts them in their place fast, she takes their toys & can outrun any & all.
This little guy, Decker's Black N Blue of BlackHawk, is going home with Preston Garnder of Morristown, TN. He's going to a very special home & will be much loved & raised in the house with Preston…Preston's mother gave me a very special Aussie at one time that brought much joy & very many happy & special memories, this dog was my Scamper who will never be replaced by another dog. We have given Blue to Preston to say thank you once again to them for our beloved Scamper & we hope that Blue brings as much happiness to them as Scamper did to us.!

This is our boy Griz...we're crazy about this boy & are sure he's going to make an awesome herding dog judging by the natural instinct that he shows even at this young age!
